Meet Mike

 

My fascination for vintage treasures started at a young age with my grandmother, Mama Ruby. Every time my family visited her and Papa Jim in Georgia we would frequent thrift stores and flea markets. Their home was a treasure trove of beautiful furniture and whatnots. Mama Ruby instilled in me, a love for glassware, ashtrays, unique trinkets, and wicker furniture! Who knew a couple of decades later I would be a full time vintage dealer!

 I grew up in a small town East of Little Rock. After high school I attended The University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. After college I worked for my family’s business in residential construction.

I started Mid Mod Mike in July of 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas out of pure happenstance and entrepreneurial drive! It was an honor to be featured in Little Rock Soirée Magazine in 2021. Read the feature here. In 2022 I was named as one of the 10 Best Antique & Vintage Stores in Little Rock. And in 2023 Mid Mod Mike was listed again as one of the 10 Best Antique & Vintage Stores in Little Rock by Little Rock Soirée Magazine! 

Currently, I live in and operate my online shop in both Little Rock, Arkansas & Denver, Colorado! I travel the roads between the two as well as other states to find the goods! You can follow my adventures on instagram @midmodmike.

My favorites finds are of course mid-century modern furniture, mid-century glass, vintage lighting & home accents, brass animals, and eclectic ashtrays.
